Looking forward to shooting the Burnley Blues Festival at
the Burnley Mechanics. Some really good acts headlined by
Bernard Allison from the US.

Absolutely great festival at Kendal Calling in Cumbria,
Weather has been great the last 3 years and this year
was no exception. Fantastic venue great acts and great
atmosphere. Can't wait for next year

Off to the Towneley Festival in Lancashire. Its the first
time for this festival. Looking forward to teaming up

I have a couple of personal projects which I have
spent the summer shooting. Shopkeepers & Canal
Folk. Both are on-going but I love photographing
people in their own environments. The work will be
exhibited at the Chapel Gallery in Jan 2011

I will be spending the next few weekends in the
soup kitchen in Southport, documenting the work

Towneley was really good, someway to go to match
up to Kendal but not bad for a first attempt. Made a
new mate too, kept getting asked to shot the little
guy from Emmerdale.

Photographed the Concert for Joe Longthorne, two years since
the last shoot. Some of the images are for his new DVD.
Its a little surreal, spending one and a half hours on stage with
Joe, his musical director and me, in front of a theatre audience. I
prefer to hide behind the camera.

2011 project
Started shooting a project for 2011, documenting
the Savick and Larches amature boxing club in
Preston. It's a great club run by great people and
the lads and lasses are all really helpful and friendly,
A credit to the nobel art.

Don't know why, well I do, but now beginning to wish
that I had never started because I have decided to
completely re-design my website.
I thought the old design was looking tired and dated so
have gone for a much more clean and modern look.

The Manchester Jazz Festival Starts today and I will be
the official photographer on duty this weekend. First
time doing this and I am really looking forward to a
great atmosphere and some great sounds.
